Jack White to play first ever Newcastle gig at City Hall on UK tour

Jack White will play his first ever Newcastle gig at the O2 City Hall in August. The former White Stripes' frontman and guitarist's tour comes after a surprise performance at Coachella on Saturday and two new singles; Derecho Demonico and G.O.D and the Broken Ribs. Both of the new songs were performed on NBC's Saturday Night Live in the US on April 4. He brings those, plus tracks from his six solo studio albums, to the City Hall on Saturday, August 29. White and his band will also perform in Bristol, Belfast, and London on the UK leg of the tour, with guests still to be announced. Tickets for Jack White go on general sale on Friday, April 17 through Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and others.
